just again in today`s newspaper said that some indonesia's offical have said tat the sand ban is to pressure singapore to settle border disputed and extradiction treaty...some even suggested to ban granite and other minerals to singapore.

1st of all i dun know much abt the border disputes but for extradiction treaty it is quite tricky as indonesia does not if a good track record of good justice system

2ndly singapore has just rise it`s GST to 7% i bet they dun know abt this ...haha
singapore does not NEED to buy sand from indonesia, it can buy from other neighbouring country

my point is singapore does not need indonesia and should not give-in to pressure
